Annual river cleanup Sat, Sep 16th

Come join us for the annual river clean up! Any and all help is welcome and genuinely appreciated. This year will be especially important because it will help us determine the impact of the newly implemented trash mitigation efforts by various organizations, and the data collected will be instrumental in helping us receive grants and funding from national organizations.

All ages are welcome. All participants must sign a waiver. Any child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and have an adult present to sign the waiver. Please wear proper attire i.e. river shoes, gloves etc. Whatever is needed to safely handle broken glass and sharp objects.

Trash bags will be provided

Random prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded for:

*Strangest object found

*Oldest object found

*Most dangerous object found (as per human safety/potential harm to tubers/river goers)

*Biggest object found (and removed….must be delivered to the weighing area)

Thanks to a very gratuitous citizen of Lava Hot Springs who believes in our cause we are not asking for donations for this particular event, but if you would like to donate to the overall effort all contributions are greatly appreciated.

Many thanks to last years financial donors who helped us get our cause off the ground!
